Welcome to the United Wiki! This is a community website dedicated to the United. The United is a boyband with 5 band members named Teus, Mike, Manuel, Gabriel and Step. The United is a newly formed band made up of five boys, each from a different European country. Gabriel Brandes (Sweden), Manuel Hoffmann (Germany), Michael Watson (United Kingdom), Stefano Anania (Italy) and Teus van der Linden (Netherlands) came together in October 2011 to form The United. The United were discovered by their Norwegian managment after Sony U.K gave this managment a mission to find five boys who can sing from five different countries. Ever since October they started building their fan base mainly through social networking websites such as Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/theunitedofficial) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/TheUnitedTweet). In order to give people the chance to get to know them and to promote their band, weekly they upload an episode on their official YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/TheUnitedOfficial). They have been doing so since Christmas Eve of 2011. The content of their episodes varies between music, fun, recording, acoustic cover versions and also some dancing from the boys. For sometime they also did a‘Fan of the Week' section in their episodes in which they gave credit to a fan who has been helping promote their band. The boys have lately been busy in Los Angeles where they recorded their very first music video. THE UNITED'S FIRST MUSIC VIDEO HAS BEEN RELEASED (The United- Stay Young) and the single 'Stay Young' is now available on iTunes. During the month of April the boys were busy touring acrossing Europe and promoting their very first single. With an already established fan base and with their great potential and talent, The United are on their way to success in the music scene.
The United have now established a name in the Japanese music industry as well. On the 2nd of October they released their very first album there which is called We Are The United and contains 14 original tracks, including their already released single, Stay Young. The album will also be released in Europe at a later stage.
